How to Apply for a Job at Cakeable
Cakeable offers Vocational Training internships at Cakeable Cafe. We work with our interns to set personalized goals for their career development, gain employable skills, and cultivate long-term employment opportunities.
Each training program lasts 3-6 months, depending on the individual. Graduates will receive career placement support to find employment in integrated settings within the local community.
Gain food service experience
1:2 Supervisor to Barista ratio
4-25 hours per week

Cakeable hires people without disabilities to fill positions such as Cafe Supervisor, Placement Coordinator, Training Manager, etc. If we have open positions, we will post them here.

Hire a Cakeable Graduate
Our interns have 3 to 6 months of on-the-job vocational training to develop new skills, build confidence, and discover new possibilities for their lives. When they’re ready for the next step, we work with them to find a long-term job in the community.
That’s where our employer partners come in!
First, we’ll have a conversation with you about your needs and open positions. Next, we’ll match you with a Cakeable graduate who might be a good fit and offer IDD training for your team. Once your new team member joins, we’ll provide on-site job coaching while they transition into their new role. To ensure a successful employment outcome, we remain available for consultation over the lifetime of each job placement.
