As of May 2026, we joined forces with ZABS Place, our longtime partner in inclusive employment, to become one team with two homes. Our Interns at the Cafe and our Special Talent at ZABS Place now share a single application. Apply once, and we’ll help you find the track that fits.

Cakeable hires people without disabilities to fill positions such as Cafe Supervisor, Placement Coordinator, Training Manager, etc. If we have open positions, we will post them here.

Hire a Cakeable Graduate
Our interns have 3 to 6 months of on-the-job vocational training to develop new skills, build confidence, and discover new possibilities for their lives. When they’re ready for the next step, we work with them to find a long-term job in the community.
That’s where our employer partners come in!
First, we’ll have a conversation with you about your needs and open positions. Next, we’ll match you with a Cakeable graduate who might be a good fit and offer IDD training for your team. Once your new team member joins, we’ll provide on-site job coaching while they transition into their new role. To ensure a successful employment outcome, we remain available for consultation over the lifetime of each job placement.
